sEMG stands for Surface Electromyography. This is the latest technology to detect areas of muscle stiffness or imbalance, and nerve irritation. If your nerves are not functioning properly, important glands and organs may be affected. Nerve irritation is also a common cause of pain. (see Your Nervous System)
During the test, you will feel nothing. No electricity, heat, radiation, or needles are used. The sensors detect the electrical activity within your body, and the test is completly non-invasive. A report will tell the doctor important information about what may be causing your condition.
